As a staff member with Building and Development Services, I can personally attest to the high volume of compliments and praise regarding how we conduct municipal services. I cannot keep tally of how often we are favorably compared to other neighboring communities. The recreation areas are some of the best in the area. Lakeway residents know what a gem we have and there is a high utilization of the outdoor spaces offered by the City. There is a high standard expected in Lakeway ranging from the police department, BDS (Code Compliance), Public Works and Parks.
