In the development budget is anyone making a suggestion to limit high density housing or proposing an occupancy tax per unit of high density housing to pay for the cost of increased density and service use?

Lots of great ideas here, but VERY hard to read and follow. My main input is please do NOT increase or raise ANY new taxes to fund ANY of this. Preferably you would CUT taxes as they are already extremely high relative to other areas, thus diminishing the value of our properties

I prefer this alternative B. The area does need an additional hotel that only drains more water from the lake. The hotels on Hwy 71 are quite adequate.

Suggestion
Alternative B doesn't make sense with the minimal information on this plan. Why can't the existing activity center be renovated to do what the rectangular community pavilion is showing? A good architect can make it work I would think. On Alt B -What about an upper level, or a covered walkway in front and pavilion located where the outdoor programming is shown.

Where did City Hall and the Activity Center go?
What is a "Community Pavilion?
In our (mostly) hot weather, a Outdoor Classroom is not a good idea and will not be well used.

I would like to see a large performance venue added to the existing Lakeway Activity Center. This would be utilized by many groups several times a year and be worthwhile. I do not think there should be retail near the City Hall area area on Lohman's Crossing. This area is for residences.

No to multifamily housing.
Yes t town houses and single story homes.
If you are going to create a new retail center, have all the parking on the outside and ONLY pedestrians walking in the middle between the shops and restaurants.
