A city park with waterfront access to one of the most beautiful lakes in Texas and the country. This park has incredible untapped potential...it could be like THE "city park" on Lake Austin, but for Lakeway residents. It's a nice amenity now, however the lake access portion is very weak and underutilized. The other aspect is the hundreds (I'm not sure the actual number) of beautiful undeveloped natural greenbelt areas...these, too, are largely under utilized with the exception of Hamilton, which is amazing and incredibly well done. There should be more trails like this...particularly in the Canyonlands greenbelt.

Additionally, the city is renowned for its responsive and professional police force, along with meticulous infrastructure maintenance led by the Public Works Department.

I cannot keep tally of how often we are favorably compared to other neighboring communities. The recreation areas are some of the best in the area. Lakeway residents know what a gem we have and there is a high utilization of the outdoor spaces offered by the City. There is a high standard expected in Lakeway ranging from the police department, BDS (Code Compliance), Public Works and Parks.
